Learn HOW TO WRITE A RESUME : HOW TO WRITE A COVER LETTER : HOW TO LAND A JOB

I am not so happy with the results I get when I look at my resume after a month and it still has only been found by maybe 9 employers in their search. I have tried different things on different sites and and I could use a couple suggestions.

you need action words in your resume
    developed, mentored.
    reduced costs.
    you cannot have passive words.
they use a scan and it searches for words that pop.
result driven, very action oriented words.

Unless you really have some specific, unique skills, honesly it’s not likely you’re going to get much action. Posting your resume usually only works when there is high demand for a particular skill, and people will search for resumes. Much better is to use networking techniques to promote yourself through people you know – and the people who know the people you know. See the article below for more thoughts…and good luck!
